A group of hard-right influencers known as the “Groypers” lost their verified check status, while others were suspended on X in recent days. The Groypers are named after the fat green frog meme. Leading the pack was Nick Fuentes, who lamented that “Twitter censorship is back. Free speech is dead” in a post earlier this week.

“Claiming censorship while simultaneously getting millions of views is the clearest possible evidence that Fuentes has [poop emoji] for brains,” Musk responded Wednesday.
Musk’s post prompted a Community Note, a feature that allows readers to upload links for the platform’s approval to fact-check tweets and provide accurate information. However, it was soon removed from his post.
