Donovan Mitchell Cashes In With 3-Year, $150.3 Million Contract Extension With Cleveland Cavaliers: REPORT

Donovan Mitchell — the All-Star guard of the Cleveland Cavaliers — has signed a three-year, $150.3 million maximum contract extension featuring a player option that will come into play in the 2027-28 campaign, sources told ESPN. The Cavaliers now have their franchise player under contract after the 2024-25 season, which provides the organization stability. The deal reportedly hands Mitchell a guaranteed $185 million over four years, and also gives him the opportunity to meet the NBA’s 10-year service criteria that would present a 5-year, $380 million max deal in 2027.
