Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) claimed that it is “delusional” to believe President Joe Biden would be able to defeat former President Donald Trump in 2024 based on the current polls.
Phillips, a long shot Democratic presidential candidate, cited a Politico article discussing Biden’s sagging poll numbers against the former president as reason for why the president is not “positioned to defeat Donald Trump,” in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
