Comedian Tim Dillon played the ghost of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in a morbid comedy set featured in Netflix’s “Torching 2024: A Roast of the Year” that dropped Friday.
The famous comedian appeared on-stage dressed in clothes similar to those Thompson wore at the time he was fatally shot in Manhattan earlier in December. Dillon left fans divided as he poked fun at the tragedy while appearing on stage gray and ghost-like, in the persona of the murdered CEO. The comedian took the jokes to a new level by taking the words allegedly written on the bullets, “deny,” “defend” and “depose,” and twisting the to say that United Healthcare will “deny, defend, decompose.”
The three words sources said were left on the bullets are reminiscent of the 2010 book “Delay, Deny, Defend: Why Insurance Companies Don’t Pay Claims and What You Can Do About It.”
