Cole Leinart, a Class of 2026 quarterback, announced his commitment Wednesday to SMU. Leinart is the son of college football legend Matt Leinart, who won repeat national championships (2003-04) and a Heisman Trophy with USC as their starting QB. Out of Redondo, California, Leinart received offers from Pittsburgh, Colorado, Georgia State and UNLV.
