Chargers’ Bradley Bozeman Defends Justin Herbert From Dirty Move By Ruthlessly Hammering Saints’ Nathan Shepherd

Ahh… It’s beautiful to see loyalty in an unloyal world.

The New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers squared off Sunday at SoFi Stadium, with the Bolts getting the blowout 26-8 win to bring them to 4-3 on the season. And though that might sound like a snoozefest, we had an interesting scene that developed in the first half.

During a play, Los Angeles quarterback Justin Herbert made a throw while New Orleans defensive tackle Nathan Shepherd was clung onto his leg, but then things got dirty. Following Herbert’s toss, Shepherd didn’t let go of his leg, even attempting to pull him down which happened. With how serious leg injuries are for quarterbacks, this easily could have gone very wrong, and that’s exactly why Chargers offensive lineman Bradley Bozeman reacted how he did.
