Canadian actress and model Dayle Haddon died Friday from a suspected incident of carbon monoxide poisoning which took place at the home of her son-in-law, Marc Blucas, who starred in the TV series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” according to local authorities. She was 76.
Haddon was discovered in Blucas’ home in Bucks County, Pa. CBS referenced a police officer stating high levels of carbon monoxide were detected inside the property. A malfunction with the heating unit was also suspected. It has not yet been confirmed if Blucas was present at the time of death.
Born and raised in Montreal, Haddon spoke both English and French. She was initially pursuing a career as a ballet dancer before becoming a model for Revlon, Estee Lauder, Clairol and Max Factor.
