Busta Rhymes reportedly turned himself in to police in relation to an alleged assault involving his assistant.
Authorities charged the famous 90s rapper with assault after an alleged altercation in New York City with his assistant, Dashiel Gables, on Jan. 10, according to TMZ. Police sources said Busta Rhymes became upset at Gables for using his phone during work hours while in the lobby of Gables’ condominium in Brooklyn’s downtown. The dispute allegedly took a violent turn when the heated exchange turned physical. The famous singer has been accused of punching Gables in the face several times and causing injuries that required hospitalization.
