A 2025 bride has shared her strict bridal party rules.
The woman took to Instagram on Jan. 19 to list her “rules for a bridal party.” A few hours later, a screenshot of the lengthy rules was uploaded on Reddit‘s “Wedding Shaming” forum, leading users on the platform to deem her a “bridezilla.”
Each rule begins with “It’s NOT your day,” and focuses on appeasing the bride. But it’s unclear whether or not the six stern rules are meant to be taken seriously or as a joke.
Her first rule sets the tone for the rest: “Do what the bride asks or don’t be in the wedding.”
The sequential rules are equally as stern, highlighting the importance of keeping the bride in the spotlight and not causing any wedding day issues.
The bride-to-be’s second rule focuses on the bridal party’s appearance. While hair “can be flexible” depending on style, makeup is uncompromising.
