Breaking: Manhattan Prosecutors Agree to Put Trump Sentencing on Hold

In light of the Supreme Court’s immunity ruling, all bets are off.

On Tuesday morning, July 2, prosecutors in Manhattan agreed to delay the scheduled sentencing of former President Donald Trump in the 34 felonies he was found guilty of in May. While the final decision on whether a delay can happen comes down to Judge Juan Merchan, with both the prosecution and Trump’s lawyers asking for a hold, it appears unlikely such a request would be refused.
