Boise State Volleyball Forfeits Mountain West Tournament Match In Outright Refusal To Play Blaire Fleming

They did it! They actually did it! Go Boise!

In an absolute stand for women, the Boise State women’s volleyball program made the announcement Tuesday night that they were forfeiting their Mountain West Tournament semifinal match against transgender athlete Blaire Fleming and San Jose State.

The team didn’t state a reason for why exactly they decided to forfeit, but it’s pretty clear that they had no interest in playing a biological male.

Back in the regular season, Boise State forfeited two matches that they had scheduled against SJSU, but with the recent match being in the conference tourney, a lot of expectations had the Broncos playing. And not just for the MWC championship, but for a bid into the NCAA Tournament as well.
