Black Bear‘s management arm has signed “Flightplan” and “RED” director Robert Schwentke for representation. In a decades-long career, Schwentke has moved between indie productions, franchise fare and action and adventure films.
His war drama, “The Captain,” premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival to critical acclaim, going on to win multiple awards, including the FIPRESCI Prize at the Vilnius International Film Festival. It was nominated for five categories at the 2018 German Film Awards.
Schwentke’s other directing credits include “Snake Eyes,” the third installment in the “G.I.
