Seven new events debut at this year’s Winter Olympics in Beijing, bringing the grand total to 109. Along with mixed-gender team events in ski jumping, ski aerials, snowboard cross and short-track speed skating, the 2022 Games also introduce two entirely new winter sporting events — the monobob and freeski Big Air.
