Office of Management and Budget Director Shalanda Young attempted to make a case for aiding Ukraine in the name of US national security.
Young appeared on Face the Nation Sunday to address Americans’ concerns with border security. As the head of the budget, Young spun the argument around to justify President Joe Biden’s supplemental funding proposal to Congress. In it, the president has recommended some $60 billion go to Ukraine, while $14 billion should go to Israel.
