President Joe Biden apparently kept the grieving families of the Marines who died during the botched U.S.-Afghanistan withdrawal so he could take a nap, the Daily Mail reported Saturday.
While critics bashed Biden for checking his watch multiple times during the dignified transfer of remains for the fallen Marines, one of the Marines’ family members told the Daily Mail that wasn’t the worst part.
“(Biden) made us wait an extra three hours to receive the bodies of our dead family members because he couldn’t pull it together,” Roice McCollum, sister of fallen Marine Rylee McCollum, told the DailyMail, the outlet reported.
While McCollum and other families waited for the President, a military officer told them he was napping on his plane, the outlet reported.
