The Democratic Party is dealing with several crises, from messaging to unpopular ideologies to identity and branding. To distract Americans, the party is trying a new tactic, involving staged town halls of its own, as well as sending left-wing activists – sometimes posing as angry and disaffected Trump voters – to disrupt GOP events. It does not appear to be helping, which is perhaps why some of these rabble-rousers are becoming increasingly hysterical.
