‘A Great Honor’: Dodgers Accept White House Invite, Will Make Trip In April

The Dodgers are headed to D.C.!

The Dodgers will be taking the visit Apr. 7 prior to the beginning of a three-game series where they will square off against the Washington Nationals. Dodgers’ members will also be visiting Capitol Hill a day later, per an announcement from the franchise.

“It wasn’t a formal conversation that we had as a ballclub,” stated Dodgers manager Dave Roberts prior to the Tuesday spring training game taking on the Los Angeles Angels. “It’s certainly a huge honor to get the invitation to the White House.
