Every kid’s worst nightmare came true Monday when officials said a “monster” was discovered under a child’s bed.
Barton County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) deputies responded to a Kansas home for a disturbance call, the BCSO said in a press release posted on Facebook. A babysitter at the residence spoke to officials at the scene.
“When putting the children to bed, one child complained there was a ‘monster’ under their bed. When the victim attempted to show the child there was nothing under the bed, she came face-to-face with a male suspect who was hiding there,” officials said.
The babysitter and the man got into an altercation, the BCSO said. A child was knocked over during the alleged scuffle and the suspect fled before officials could respond. The press release did not report any injuries.
