KPopped will debut on Apple TV+ with Lionel Richie as executive producer
Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion and “Gangnam Style” star Psy will take the stage for a new competition series titled KPopped, Apple TV+ announced on Wednesday.
The eight-episode show is executive produced by Lionel Richie, along with Megan, Moira Ross, Greg Foster, Miky Lee, Harry H.K. Shin and Jake Hong. CJ ENM’s Ki-woong Kim and Eureka Productions also produce the upcoming project. The steamer has yet to confirm a release date for KPopped.
According to a description of the series, “In each episode, western icons reimagine one of their biggest hits, collaborating with top-tier K-pop idols to deliver spectacular battle performances, with a live Seoul-based audience picking the winner of the best new K-popped song.” Megan is also set to perform her hit track…
