Vivek Ramaswamy — biotech billionaire, former presidential candidate, and President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to co-head the newly-minted Department of Government Efficiency — is set to announce his bid for the 2026 Ohio gubernatorial race, sources familiar with the matter confirmed to the Washington Examiner.
“The statement is drafted. It is ready,” a political operative with Ramaswamy told the Washington Post of his biotech billionaire’s plan to run for governor in 2026.
