Stephanopoulos, ABC News ordered to apologize, pay millions in Trump settlement

The settlement, first reported by Fox News, was filed on Saturday, with the news network agreeing to pay the money as a charitable contribution to a “Presidential foundation and museum to be established by or for Plaintiff, as Presidents of the United States of America have established in the past.” ABC News has also agreed to pay $1 million in attorney fees.

The lawsuit comes after Trump sued Stephanopoulos for comments he made in an interview with Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), during which he claimed the president-elect had been found liable for rape.
