Zero Senate Democrats voted against confirming Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s political nominees. Alejandro Mayorkas was one of the 21 Biden-Harris nominees that Senate Democrats unanimously supported. The list of Senate Democrats who unanimously supported Mayorkas for DHS Secretary includes “moderates” Joe Manchin, Kyrsten Sinema, Jon Tester, and Sherrod Brown. It is interesting that Democrats and the mainstream media refer to Manchin, Sinema, Tester, and Brown as “moderates,” considering that they all supported Mayorkas’s nomination.
