A Politico writer attempted to whitewash the left’s anti-Trump rhetoric in a piece Tuesday about the president-elect’s alleged would-be assassin, Ryan Routh.
Politico’s Ankush Khardori says she received a letter from Routh in which he described his political beliefs, his frustration with the two-party system and his identity as an independent. Khardori failed to address, however, obvious signs that the Democratic Party’s recent rhetoric motivated his attempt on Trump’s life, including the fact that he donated to Act Blue and had a Biden-Harris bumper sticker on his vehicle.
