Wow, what a ball of entertainment!
At first, it looked like Dallas Cowboys wide receiver KaVonte Turpin flubbed things up on a kick return, letting the ball bounce through his legs and forcing Turpin to turn around to pick up the pigskin at the 1-yard line. When he picked it up, however, my man shot off like a rocket, landing a beautiful spin move, before taking the ball to the house.
Running 99 yards down the field, Turpin racked up a kickoff return touchdown which ultimately became the centerpiece of Dallas’s 34-26 victory Sunday over the Washington Commanders. The win snapped the Cowboys’ five-game losing streak. Turpin’s score came with a little less than three minutes remaining in the game, which was then followed by safety Juanyeh Thomas punching in a touchdown off an onside kick.
