Just down the road from Raymond James Stadium (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) in northwest Tampa, Steinbrenner Field sits 11,000 fans and is also the home for the Yanks’ Class A minor league affiliate in the Tampa Tarpons.

The Rays had looked into other facilities in Tampa that they could’ve played in, however, it was Steinbrenner Field that was the most ready for the MLB level.
