“What did one blade of grass say to the other? ‘Without a director, it’s really hard to make dew.’” That’s one of the reasons why Disney decided to push back production on the upcoming Marvel film Blade after losing its original director, Bassam Tariq, and booking Yann Demange to replace him. But Demange later left, and things only look darker for our favorite daywalker now that Marvel has reportedly taken Blade off its 2025 release schedule.
On June 11, The Wrap announced that Yann Demange has left Blade. This makes him the second director to leave the project. The parting was described as “amicable.”
