Andy McCarthy Says Latest Jack Smith Evidence Dump Could Taint Jury Pool Against Trump

Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy said Friday that U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan of D.C. risked prejudicing potential jurors against former President Donald Trump by allowing more of special counsel Jack Smith’s documents to be released.

Chutkan agreed to Smith’s request to allow the public to view four documents totaling over 1,800 pages of potential evidence in Smith’s federal election interference case against Trump.
