REPORT: Haunted House Owner Convicted Of Sexually Assaulting Child

The owner of a Wisconsin haunted house was reportedly convicted Monday of sexually assaulting a teenager who worked at the attraction.

Police arrested John Schwarz, the operator of Scare USA in Two Rivers, after an investigation alleged he had sex with multiple underaged employees over the course of 10 years. WLUK reported.

The 38-year-old convicted predator pleaded no contest to three felony charges: having sexual intercourse with a child under 19, fourth-degree sexual assault and causing mental harm to a child — all of which were dropped or reduced, the outlet reported.

A male victim said he became a “shell of his former self” after the alleged sexual assault and the court proceedings thereafter, a prosecutor revealed in a statement read in court Monday. The victim asked for the haunted house owner to be sentenced to prison, according to the outlet.
