Hurricane Milton claimed the lives of 23 Floridians just two weeks after Hurricane Helene had claimed the lives of 20 Floridians, according to CNN.

A post made on X claims Tropical Storm Leslie’s current path has it hitting Florida as a Category five hurricane. The caption reads, “The current projected path for Hurricane Leslie.” The attached video depicts a Category five hurricane making landfall in Florida.

The claim is false. Tropical Storm Leslie has not become a hurricane and currently poses no threat to the U.S. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Miami provided its last update of Tropical Storm Leslie on Oct. 12, according to The Daytona Beach News-Journal.
