Singer-songwriter will take Manning Fireworks on the road next month with first leg of North American tour
MJ Lenderman made his solo late-night television debut Wednesday (fittingly) with a visit to The Tonight Show, where he performed “Wristwatch.”
Backed by the Wind — including Wednesday bandmate Karly Hartzman on tambourine — Lenderman gave fans a preview of his upcoming tour with a rendition of the Manning Fireworks standout.
While “Wristwatch” marked Lenderman’s first solo late-night performance, the singer/songwriter previously appeared on a March 2024 episode of The Late Show, where he joined Waxahatchee for their collaboration “Right Back At It.” Lenderman’s other band, Wednesday, has not yet played one of the major late-night shows.
