Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon are reunited and it feels so good!
On Thursday, Sept. 5, the former Bull Durham costars came back together 36 years after the romantic sports comedy’s 1988 release for the Better World Fund Gala, which took place during the 81st Venice International Film Festival in Venice, Italy.
Following the event, Costner, 69, shared a sweet snap of him and Sarandon, 77, on Instagram. “There’s nothing like catching up with an old friend. Great to see you @susansarandon—we’ve come a long way since our Bull Durham days,” the star captioned the post.
“I’m proud to have taken part in the @better_world_fund initiatives alongside Susan here at the #VeniceFilmFestival,” he continued, referencing the nonprofit organization, which aims to “raise awareness and funds to promote humanitarian action and sustainable development worldwide.”
