Moore to the Point – Coup-Contrecoup – RedState

One of the arguably cool things about defending personal injury cases throughout my legal career is that it necessitated my learning to read and understand medical records — and medical jargon — along the way. Of course, defending numerous car accident cases, a common injury encountered was “whiplash,” or what opposing medical experts often referred to as “coup-contrecoup” in an attempt to sound extra expert-y. 

Even as someone who lives and breathes politics and media, trying to follow and keep up with the recent developments surrounding Joe Biden and his candidacy and presidency has been whiplash-inducing. Then, too, I’ve seen or heard many describe the ouster of Biden from his campaign (and, perhaps, presidency) as a “coup.”
