The Westminster Dog Show has crowned its next top dog,
On May 14, Sage the Miniature Poodle won Best in Show at the 148th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show Presented by Purina Pro Plan. The famous canine competition — the second-longest continuous sporting event in the U.S. — was held at New York City’s USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, home to the U.S. Open’s Arthur Ashe Stadium, for the second year in a row.
Sage the female Miniature Poodle — show name GCHG CH Surrey Sage — triumphed over 2,500 other dogs from more than 200 breeds in Westminster’s confirmation show. To win Best in Show, Sage first had to win Best of Breed for her breed and Best in Group for the Non-Sporting Group.
