Charcuterie meats from Sam’s Club, Costco under recall amid salmonella outbreak

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is advising shoppers to avoid charcuterie meats from Sam’s Club and Costco due to a salmonella outbreak.

Some 22 states have reported cases of salmonella associated with the Busseto charcuterie sampler from Sam’s Club in the nine-ounce twin pack and the Fratelli Beretta antipasto gran beretta platter from Costco in the 12-ounce twin pack. Both feature a variety of Italian deli meats and have resulted in 47 nationwide cases and 10 hospitalizations of salmonella infections.
