Documents just released by the House Ways and Means Committee reveal that Delaware Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf demanded investigators remove any references to Joe Biden from a search warrant related to a Hunter Biden Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) probe.
In an August 2020 email to investigators, including IRS whistleblower Joseph Ziegler, Wolf stated that a section of a drafted warrant (that has not been publicly released) needed to be redone because it included the elder Biden.
“I am not sure what this is cut and pasted from but other than the attribution, location and identity stuff at the end, none [of] it is appropriate and within the scope of this warrant,” Wolf wrote. “Please focus on FARA evidence only.
