Wild First Half in Markets Sets Stage for More Big Moves in Rest of 2022

Markets got off to a bad start in early 2022, and the situation has grown worse since then, with broad selloffs in stocks, bonds and cryptocurrencies.

As investors look ahead to the second half of the year, they are asking how much longer high inflation will persist, how aggressively the Federal Reserve will fight it and how much farther asset prices will fall before they reach the bottom.
