Winter Olympics 2022 – Mikaela Shiffrin’s final race, Jessie Diggins skis for a medal, Finland faces ROC for men’s hockey gold

It’s the final night of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing and the last chance for some athletes to win Olympic gold.

Saturday morning (ET) saw American bobsledder Elana Meyers Taylor make history. She won bronze in the two-woman bobsled, giving her five total medals. She is now the most-decorated Black athlete in Winter Olympics history.

Tonight, Mikaela Shiffrin will be among the American skiers competing in the mixed team alpine race. So far, Team USA has advanced to the semifinals, upsetting Italy in the quarterfinals.

Team USA will also have two sleds in the last two heats of the four-man bobsled competition. But this event could see an all-German podium. Headlined by Francesco Friedrich’s team, the Germans currently have three of the top four spots.

Then, in the 30km cross-country race, there are four Americans in the field, with Jessie Diggins as the headliner.
