A Florida mother and father have been charged with child neglect after authorities allege their two children were seen running naked in public and covered in human waste.
Deputies with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office claimed they spotted the first boy running through traffic in Wright, Fla., at around 9 a.m. on Sept. 8, according to a statement shared on Facebook. They brought the boy to safety, but alleged he was naked and covered in feces.
Authorities said they recognized the boy and took him to a home near Fort Walton Beach, where they spotted another naked boy running around nearby. The second child also had feces on his body, the sheriff’s office alleged.
“OCSO Deputies and an investigator found deplorable conditions throughout the residence, as well as prescription medications within reach of a total of five children, all under the age of 12,” authorities…
