Two people, including a teenager, were killed and five others were injured after a mobile home collapsed just outside Angleton, Texas.
The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office said on social media the “manufactured” home collapsed at around 5 p.m. local time on Sunday, Sept. 22, while it was “in the process of being leveled.”
Several members of the family who were “working on the home” reportedly were “trapped beneath the structure,” according to police.
First responders arrived at the home and attempted to rescue the family members who were trapped beneath the structure using chainsaws and axes.
